Mary Constance Rock was characterized by her children as a woman “full of life.” Her creave gis were manifested through her sewing abilies. Not only did she make most of her own clothes, but she devoted me to making doll clothes as well. A longme member of St. Mary Parish, Mary faithfully brought dessert for our weekly God Works! dinners. She enjoyed keeping busy and her good sense of humor been credited to her longevity; living to be 96 years of age.Mary met her husband (Willard.) while roller skang. Willard served his country during World War II. While he was away, Mary was one of the original “Rosie The Riveter’s” working at the Willow Run Bomber Plant. While Willard was away, he sent her le3ers which she kept in a scrapbook. These le3ers were placed in her casket. To Mary’s family, whom she deeply cherished (children: Dorothy (James) English, Lawrence (Carol) Rock and Ronald; her grandchildren, Andrew, Lawrence, Makayla and Temple and her greatgrandchildren, Averi and Ayden) we offer oursympathy and the promise of our connued prayers for each of you. May our Lord Jesus Christ, comfort and console you as you grieve Mary’s passing from her earthly life to her new and eternal life.
