Exposition is the placement of the sacred host outside the tabernacle for public prayer. The Church permits a ”full” exposition when the sacred host is visible in a vessel called a “monstrance”.
It’s purposes are to:
● Acknowledge Christ’s presence in the Sacrament.
● Lead a fuller participation in celebration of the Eucharist.
● Foster the worship due Christ in spirit and in truth.

TIME COMMITMENT
● Lectors are scheduled to proclaim either the first or second reading once or twice each month
● Prior to Sunday, lectors are asked to prepare by reading and reflecting upon the readings they will proclaim
● A training session for new lectors is held prior to beginning this ministry

The choir, numbering about 35, is a group of volunteers consisting of various musical abilities who enjoy enhancing the celebrations of the Eucharist at St. Mary throuughout the year.

Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the church choir loft from September to December and from February to May. The choir sings at the 9:30 Mass and during the holidays.

St. Mary Resurrection Choir is a group of volunteers who enjoy music and sing for all parish funerals. This dedicated group of people, through song, comforts those who grieve the death of a loved one.

Men and Women singers who are available on weekday and Saturday mornings.
TIME COMMITMENTS
● Whenever a funeral is scheduled. Funerals are celebrated most often in the morning.
● Occasional practices are held.
● Singers gather in the choir loft.

● Collect weekly donations from those gathered for Mass.

● Call for emergency assistance if needed.
