A Memorial Mass celebrating the life of William Norbert Masson took place on April 16, 2021. Family, friends and co-workers gathered to grieve and remember the many gifts that Bill so generously shared with them and others. Bill was a devoted husband to Susan, a faithful son to his widowed mother, Ruby Montri, a loving father to his children, Joe and Christine and a life-long friend to his sister, Dorothy Ciacelli. Two attributes that characterized Bill were his humility and generosity. Skilled as a farmer and as a tractor mechanic, Bill was not hesitant in offering to help fix farm machinery and trucks on his own time. His generous spirit and his love for his sister, Dorothy, led him to be willing to be a bone marrow donor for her. His sense of humor, hard working nature, coupled with his quiet demeanor led others to hold him in high esteem. To Bill’s family and friends, St. Mary and St. John Parishes offers their sympathy and the promise of continued prayerful support. May the peace of God and the hope of the resurrection comfort and console you as you grieve Bill’s death in the coming days and months.
