With a passion for cars, Larry and Linda relished serving as Michigan International Speedway (MIS) ambassadors a job Larry “nailed down” so that, with Linda, they could ensure that the campers at MIS were satisfied. With longtime friends, he enjoyed attending custom vehicle shows and traveling to various locations around the United States.
Not hesitant to reach out to those in need, Larry, along with his wife of nearly 50 years, Linda was a dedicated worker at “In the Spirit of Giving”. Utilizing his truck and van, they dedicated time to picking up donations or delivering furniture and household items to those most in need in Monroe County. Dressing as “Santa Claus” and visiting children in the elementary schools, was another of Larry’s joys in life. Equally entertaining was his ability to mimic Donald Duck. His cheerful personality and generosity reflected his gratitude to God for the blessings of his life and his desire to make others happy.
May the peace and consolation of Christ be with all who knew and loved Larry; his wife, Linda, his sons, Chad (Samantha) and Scott (Lisa); his mother Lucille; his brothers, Nelson, Terry, Mike; his sisters, Linda and Dianne as well as his seven grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler, Collin, Colton, Carter Miller, Cooper Miller, and Colton Miller. Larry’s faith in Christ and his hope in the Resurrection strengthened him throughout his days of suffering; may that same hope guide you in the coming days and weeks as you continue to grieve. The members of St. Mary Church extend their sympathy and prayers for each of you!
