Friday, January 1 - we celebrate Mary, the Mother of God Thursday, May 13 - The feast of the Ascension of the Lord is celebrate. Sunday, August 15 - The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is celebrated Monday, November 1 - The Feast of All Saints is observed (abrogated because it falls on a Monday) Wednesday, December 8 - Immaculate Conception Saturday, December 25 - The birth of our Lord is celebrated Other Principal Feasts of the Church February 17 - Ash Wednesday which marks the beginning of the holy season of Lent. A day of fast and abstinence. March 28 - Palm Sunday April 1 - Holy Thursday April 2 - Good Friday commemorates the Passion and Death of our Lord Jesus Christ. A Day of Fast and Abstinence April 3- Holy Saturday April 4 - We will exalt in the full celebration of the Passover of our Lord Jesus Christ in the observance of Easter Sunday, the Feast of Feasts! April 11 - Divine Mercy Sunday May 23 - Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birthday of the Church, will be commemorated. May 30 - Tinity Sunday June 3 - Corpus Christi, the Feast of the Body and Blood of our Savior. November 21 - The Feast of Christ the King will be celebrated. November 28- The First Sunday of the Holy Season of Advent when we look anew at the Coming of our Lord and Savior.
